Preview night:
Okay, so i was completely unprepared, i got there at like 4, to pick up my badge. It was supposed to start at 6, yeah right!!!
but i couldnt believe the lines, to get into the exibit hall and the other line for ballroom 20 (movie previews)
i decided to stand in the exibit hall line.... i was so tired from standing in the line that by the time it started moving and people ran into the hall i was tired. It took so long to get through the huge place...i didnt even make it to the end (seriously)
I walked away with a few bags and posters...but where was all this FREE stuff everyone kept talking about??
idk, i never found out xD
I went upstairs to get away from the mass crowd, i looked outside and what did i see but people ALREADY standing, or shall i say more like camping out for twilight, and i went OMFG so i went home and i came back at 10:40pm
Thursday:
We stood in line from 10:40pm wendsday to 10:30 thursday, to get a good seat for twilight, however, i was excited for alice in wonderland. So, when alice in wonderland finally came, it was just about over and tim burton said that he had an imaginary friend, and out walks Johnny Depp my mom practically ripped my arm off pulling me up. I was stunned, i didnt even know what was going on... then i started freaking too XD
then later twilight, so i was not one of the lucky ones who could see them clearly, however i screamed so much that it hurt to talk afterwards. Next year i am going to camp out for twilight starting at 9:30am on wednesday...will it be worth it?? hell yay!!!! =D
Friday:
Hall H here we come again!!!
okay, so we were tired from twilight, so we slept in to late, and got to the convention center later than expected. and parking was hell...so we stood out for like 2 hours in the heat to get in to the HAYAO MIYAZAKI panel....i wouldnt of missed this for the world....like OMFG HAYAO MIYAZAKI...OMG OMGi..i cried when he came on stage -____-
it was amazing...even though we were not that close...still *sigh* it was...wow
his new movie "ponyo" is beautiful (like everything else he's done) before his panel we saw the disney ones, with all the 3D movie re-makes like, beauty and the beast and toy story i cant remember what i did after that...which really isnt unlike me, i have a bad memory T.T
Saturday:
I got there at like, 9:45am
i got in line for the maquerade at 10:00am then didnt leave till 12:30am (sunday morning) i was so bored.....
at 5 i went to the adventures in voice acting panel it was so-so, even though i had been waiting all year for this panel it was just uhh
i took a hell of pictures, all the best coplayers were on saturday...
this was the first masqerade ive ever been to and i wasnt impressed, it almost downright sucked...compared to what i have seen on youtube during the previous years so...we stood in line for nothing then at like 11:30 i left cause i didnt stay for the awards and stuff
(note: the last one with the 4 seasons, was one of the most beautiful things i have seen...)the last skit was these four muses/ faries, that were perched on these wood backgrounds that they made themeselfs, like 3D, it was so beautiful...wow =*
after the masquerade, was the dance/rave thing...i checked it out but didnt stay, my head hurt and the music was so loud that the floor was shaking...
so i had to leave before i threw up xD
Sunday:
Went to one panel called," buisness of cartoon voices" it was great, i learned alot.
after i went to the exibit hall and wandered around the "anime" side, and bought a gigi XD
everyone should know who that is, but incase udk, its that adorable black cat from "kiki's delivery service" and who made that movie??
omg who?
HAYAO MIYAZAKI but if you love movies like spirited away and nausicaa, you already knew that xD
so that was my comic-con expirience =D
and i am soooo tired...xD [well, im not tired now lol]
